DRIVE Advanced Specialty Classes - Spring 2010

(Must have completed previous DRIVE Class or approved by a DRIVE Coach)

DRIVE Basketball training specializes in fundamental individual skill & positional development.  The training is customized for players of all skill levels and positions. Through years of playing, training and coaching, Pasha Bains (Masters of Coaching Science and Sport Psychology) and Chad Clifford (B.H.K) have developed DRIVE's own unique style and method of teaching the game of basketball through the DRIVE Basketball Academy.

DRIVE offers different programs that can fits each players individual needs. 

Enrollment Based programs:

 

E. DRIVE Advanced Point Guard (Ages 11-16) Class

F. DRIVE Advanced Shooting (Ages 10-16) Sunday Class

G. DRIVE Advanced Scorers (Ages 11-16) Sunday Class

H. DRIVE Advanced Post (Ages 11-16) Class

 

Appointment Based programs (Ages 10-18):

J. DRIVE Advanced Private Lessons (up to 3)

K. DRIVE Advanced Semi-Private Lessons (up to 6)

Only a limited number of campers are enrolled for each class. This is probably the biggest difference, and it results in several benefits for campers. It allows us to cover more facets of basketball, and to cover major ideas in greater depth. We limit enrollment in each session to maximize the individual attention each player receives to help develop their game.

DRIVE Advanced Point Guard Class - Back to Top

This class is designed specifically for Point Guards or for players wanting to learn the Point Guard position. This class features considerable time spent on ball handling, shooting, pick & roll, feeding the post, pressuring the ball & point guard finishes. Players will be taught on understanding the game as a point guard.

Focussing only on the mastery of the fundamentals & confidence of shooting. This class features skill instruction, demonstrations, video-work & visualization techniques.

Focussing on being a scorer or learning to become a scorer. This class features finishing moves, one on one play, learning how to get open, pivoting, reading screens, athletic development & understanding the game as a scorer.
