DELTA PACERS' SENIOR COMBO GUARD BRETT LEVERSAGE
Provincial U-17 member, Brett Leversage is our inaugural Athlete of the Month.
Brett is currently a camper at DRIVE University, where he spends 8 hours of his
weekend working hard on his skills with his fellow campers. For his dedication
and commitment in improving his game, we would like to salute Brett and wish
him the best of luck for his up and coming senior season.
DRIVE recently had a chance to sit down and ask the provincial teamer his thoughts of DRIVE University.
DRIVE: Why did you choose DRIVE?
BL: I chose DRIVE because of the coaches. I really wanted to learn from three of Canada's best, Pasha Bains, Chad Clifford, and Jordan Mason. I knew each not only loved the game but loved teaching it.
DRIVE: What do you think of DRIVE?BL: Its even more than i thought i was going to get out of it. DRIVE is all about improving how you play the game. The coaches teach you things that actually work, moves that they themselves use, not just straight fundamentals like a lot of coaches teach. I've noticed an improvement in my game after just three weeks.
Brett Leversage is 6'2" combo guard for the Delta Pacers. He is a multiple member of the provincial allstar team and averaged 21 points, 6 boards, 4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block per game in his junior season.
For his efforts, Brett will receive a prize package courtesy of New Balance.
