DRIVE Specialty Classes - Spring 2010
DRIVE Basketball training specializes in fundamental individual skill & positional development. The training is customized for players of all skill levels and positions. Through years of playing, training and coaching, Pasha Bains (Masters of Coaching Science and Sport Psychology) and Chad Clifford (B.H.K) have developed DRIVE's own unique style and method of teaching the game of basketball through the DRIVE Basketball Academy.
DRIVE offers different programs that can fits each players individual needs.

K. Semi-Private Lessons (up to 6)
Only a limited number of campers are enrolled for each class. This is probably the biggest difference, and it results in several benefits for campers. It allows us to cover more facets of basketball, and to cover major ideas in greater depth. We limit enrollment in each session to maximize the individual attention each player receives to help develop their game.

This class is designed for players who are new to the game. Players will spend considerable time on the basic fundamentals and footwork as well as beginning to develop a basic understanding of the game. Perfect for players who did not make their school team or are looking to earn more playing time on their school team.

Our most popular class. Program designed to develop the Complete player. Curriculum includes a different lesson and skill per week with a 10 week progression. Players will progress as they improve. Program includes SAQ training with a strong emphasis on movement. Program has moved on many successful high school players.

High intensity! A 2 hr burst of DRIVE featuring Skill Development & Competitive Play. Jr. Classes focus on basic fundamentals & footwork. Camp also includes SAQ training. The curriculum includes shooting, pivoting, layups, athletic development & developing an understanding of the game.

This class features considerable time spent on ball handling, shooting, pick & roll, feeding the post, pressuring the ball & point guard finishes. A high-tempo program. Sr. Skills camps focus on basic & more advanced fundamentals & footwork.
2 hour camp features Skill Development, Competitive play & SAQ Training for overall skills. The curriculum includes shooting off screens, advanced jab moves, creating separation, playing your position, athletic development & developing an advanced understanding of the game.

It is for players who have some court experience and desire to go the next level of skill development. Curriculum includes a different lesson and skill per week with a 8 week progression.
