Drive High Performance Camp

DRIVE Basketball is excited to announce the 3rd Annual High Performance Basketball Camp.

This camp is specifically designed for players who have at least 2 years of playing experience and are seeking to improve offensively and defensively during the off-season. Players will have advanced on-court instruction modeled after championship teams and collegiate programs.

Elite players will be formed into select teams and compete against team camp attendees throughout the week with the intent to optimize skill development and integrate training within the competitive game environment.

The focus of the program will be aimed to improve everyone's individual skill base, decision making and overall understanding of the game.  The program will include drills to help develop the players hand eye-coordination, fundamental motor skills, shooting mechanics, passing, ball-handling, dribble moves and overall enjoyment of the game.

The camp is open to Boys only!

All Campers must bring their own basketball!

What they're saying about Drive Camps

Brett Leversage UBC Basketball - DRIVE University Fall '04 MVP

Quotes:

"DRIVE is all about improving how you play the game. The

coaches teach you things that actually work, moves that

they  themselves use, not just straight fundamentals

like a lot of coaches teach. I've noticed an improvement in

my game after just three weeks. I had a great
experience participating at Drive."

Brett Leversage - a member of the UBC Mens Basketball program since 2006.  Helped the T-Birds to a perfect season in 06/07.

Clayton Crellin Kitsilano Blue Demons '08 - DRIVE University Fall '07 MVP

Qutotes:

"DRIVE is the best program I have ever attended. Playing on the U17 team Drive Elite team last summer (that went to Seattle and Vegas) I gained so much experience and it allowed me

opportunities that I would not have had otherwise. Drive

has helped medevelop my basketball IQ and overall

understanding of the game. I would recommend it to anyone

who is trying to take their game to the next level."

Clayton Crellin - 1st team All-Star at '07 AAA provincials, member of the Drive U17 Selects

Elle Kerfoot Elgin Park '08 - DRIVE University Fall '07 MVP

Quotes:

Drive was awesome. I enjoyed coming every Saturday and Sunday and just playing, it was awesome to be coached by these guys.  My game improved a lot. I didn't only improve skill wise but it made me closer to the game.  I just want to be playing all the time now, I always have the ball in my hand now. It just made me think about how important basketball really is."

Elle Kerfoot - recently committed to NCAA Div. I Seattle University, Member of the U15 and U17 BC team

Gurjote Jhaj St. Georges Saints - U-17 Drive Selects

Quotes:

"I have been apart of the DRIVE Program since I was in the 8th grade. The coaches have helped me develop a passion for the game that I never had before.  Coming to the camps and working on my game has helped me develop into the player I am today. I would recommend to anyone who is trying to take their games to the next level to check out DRIVE."

Gurjote Jhaj - Member of Drive U17 Selects, U15 and U17 BC team member
